ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF OUTREACH
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for all components related to evangelizing to the lost in our city by sharing Jesus with Muslims and Refugees. This position provides leadership for Outreach Ministry Team to include, but not limited to, organize Samuel Ministries events with the local churches. The Associate Director will ensure that all Samuel Ministries’ efforts are Gospel-focused with the goal of evangelism and discipleship.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Actively involved in the local church

Ability to create, maintain and grow healthy relationships with local churches and establish a ministry presence

Prospect new like-minded churches who have not been introduced to Samuel Ministries

A team builder that excels in equipping others to do the work of the ministry

Grow deep and meaningful relationships with local Muslims and Refugees and discipling them with the love of Jesus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

POSITION SUMMARY
Demonstrate passion for ministry to the lost (Muslims) and overlooked (Refugees)
Demonstrate spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for leadership
Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision
Humble and teachable, willing to learn and grow as a leader
A committed Christian whose theology is consistent with our statement of faith
Develop and fundraise 100% of personal and ministry budgets
Support raising is one of the most unique ways we see God at work. Samuel Ministries will give you support-raising training when you join as a staff. The training will equip you with effective ways to communicate the ministry to your financial partners, and we will coach and guide you in development your support team
You receive 100% of the donations made to your ministry account, and they are used exclusively for your salary and for your own ministry expenses
Associate Director will be responsible for building and maintaining fruitful relationships with partners who share and invest in our vision. The work involves the recruitment and management of volunteers, and cultivating partnerships with a variety of people and organizations, including churches. The ideal candidate will posses a passion for reaching the lost.

This position will start out as a bi-vocational ministry. It will become full time as you become fully funded. Meanwhile, Samuel Ministries would naturally be supportive in working around your secular employment schedule. We will work with you to develop a compensation that matches your education level, experience, and family requirements. Samuel Ministries partners with churches and individual donors to raise financial support. Contributions are fully tax-deductible.
